America’s got cheesy Bud Light slogans, and Japan’s got…this. I don’t think I’ve ever been this impressed by the cinematography of a beer commercial. It’s like Lord of the Rings meets Sapporo.  Who knew drinking beer could be such a culturally rich activity?

Sapporo’s chocolate beer

Chocolate beer… sounds like a match made in heaven to me! According to Sapporo’s website, this beer starting selling nationwide in Japan on January 13. I want to try this once I go back to Tokyo. However, according to most of the reviews I’ve been reading online, it doesn’t taste very great.
