Ang Lee wins Oscar, celebrates with In-N-Out burger

After winning an Academy Award for Best Director for the movie, “Life of Pi,” you’d think a famous Hollywood man like Ang Lee would be too busy heading off to an extravagant party to celebrate. Instead, he found some time to indulge on an In-N-Out burger while holding his Oscar trophy in his other hand.

Born in in the town of Chaochou, an agricultural county in Taiwan, Lee was pressured by his father to become a professor. However, Lee made up his mind that he wanted to pursue drama and arts instead. He enrolled in the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where he completed his bachelor’s degree in theater. It looks like his son, Mason Lee, is also pursuing the Hollywood route, playing Teddy in “The Hangover II.”

Ethnically Taiwanese, he became the first Asian to win an Oscar for Best Director when he won for “Brokeback Mountain” in 2006. Other movies Lee has directed include, “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon,” “Sense and Sensibility,” and “Hulk.” But amidst all the fame and success, it comes to show Lee knows the only way to party is “Animal Style!”
