Last Saturday, China’s heaviest baby, Chun Chun, was born in the city of Xinxiang and weighed a whopping 15.5 lbs. I can only imagine how strenuous it must have been to carry around a fetus that large inside of you for nine months.
Chun’s mom delivered him via C-section, which lasted about 20 minutes. “I clearly felt that my body was more clumsy than when I had been pregnant with my daughter. My belly was bigger than it was then,” she said.
You would think his mama consumed a crazy amount of food while she was pregnant but apparently she ate and drank a normal amount.
Maybe a chubby, happy baby is a sign of good luck?
