My friend recently came back from Korea and brought a gift back for me—soju, Korea’s traditional alcoholic drink. At first glance, I thought the cute juice box he gave me was a chaser for the huge plastic bottle of soju. I was wrong. It seems Koreans love to have the option of consuming their distilled rice liquor on-the-go as well.
In Korea, soju is apparently cheaper than bottled water. Well, now that I have a gigantic bottle of soju sitting on my counter…party at my place, anyone?
