The next time you go to the grocery store, forget about grabbing that loaf of bread. Reach for that bag of rice instead. Because with the help of the Gopan, you can turn rice into a warm loaf of homemade bread! Created by Sanyo, the world’s first rice bread cooker initially went on sale on November 11th. But due to high demand, the company had to stop taking orders. No news yet about when they plan to start up sales again, which is unfortunate as it would make a fun Christmas gift. While the Gopan isn’t cheap, retailing at around $600, imagine how may loaves of bread you could make with a bag of rice. Now that’s what I call an investment.
