96-year-old Taiwanese guy gets hitched

by Emily Co on April 1, 2010

They say age is but a number. That is certainly the case for Taiwanese temple keeper Lin Chung who is getting married at the ripe age of 96, according to Taiwan-based Apple Daily. Chung is apparently marrying a 30-year-old woman from Hunan, China, even though his adopted son, 68, is strongly objecting to it. Apart from his son, the old Taoist temple keeper has another adopted child.

Chung says:

“I must have a companion in my old days. I’ve never been married before so why can’t I marry her? [My son] is unfilial.”

Old geezers need love, too!
