Ishikawa prefecture sees tadpole rainstorm

An old man in the city of Nanao found about a 100 dead tadpoles on the windshields of cars in a parking lot. Apparently it’s been happening in cities in that area since this month. Officials and residents are still trying to figure out what the heck is going on. As long as it doesn’t start raining frogs (huge phobia) I’m okay. I can never figure out how people managed to create the cute  character frog, Kerropi, from its hideously nasty real-life counterpart.
